The AMCOB meetings in Dubai and Riyadh provided the perfect forum to build valuable relationships with highly accomplished professionals across a wide-range of industries. As an entrepreneur, I specifically appreciated the extremely insightful talk by Dr. Sherwani on opportunities in Saudi Arabia, the thoughtfully curated timetable which allowed space for meaningful conversations with fellow attendees, and the social event at night which facilitated genuine discussions that I have found both personally and professionally useful. I strongly recommend AMCOB - it is a significant hidden gem community for Muslim professionals and business leaders!

Participating in AMCOB’s GCC trip was an incredibly valuable experience, both professionally and personally. The opportunity to connect with fellow Muslim business owners—both from the U.S. and abroad—proved to be invaluable for strengthening relationships and expanding my professional network. One of the most insightful aspects of the trip was gaining a deeper understanding of the international business landscape, particularly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Learning about the region’s economic opportunities and business culture provided meaningful takeaways for navigating global markets. Beyond the business insights, what stood out the most was the camaraderie and relationship-building throughout the trip. The shared experiences, discussions, and mutual support reinforced the importance of fostering strong connections within the Muslim business community. These relationships are essential not just for business growth but also for creating a network of support and collaboration among like-minded entrepreneurs. AMCOB’s GCC trip was a well-organized and enriching experience, and I highly recommend it to any Muslim business owner looking to expand their horizons.

I had a wonderful experience both in terms of networking with other great minds and spiritually. It was the perfect blend of working to promote my efforts for this life and the next. It was a very efficient and productive whirlwind of a tour that resulted in a lot of great contacts and, even more importantly, great relationships.

Being part of the AMCOB Executive Delegations was an enriching experience that beautifully combined personal, professional, and spiritual growth. The environment encouraged meaningful connections that went beyond business—fostering new friendships and strengthening existing relationships. What stood out most was how the delegation nurtured not just our leadership skills but also our inner development. It was a space where we could explore ways to align our professional goals with our deeper values. I left with a renewed sense of purpose and a strong network of like-minded individuals, all committed to growth and excellence.

Reflecting on our journey to Dubai, Riyadh, and the sacred lands of Makkah and Madinah, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. This experience was more than just travel; it was a profound spiritual and professional awakening. In Dubai and Riyadh, I witnessed firsthand the immense potential of the Muslim world—how innovation, leadership, and faith intersect to create dynamic economies and thriving communities. Engaging with leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries reinforced my belief that with the right support and strategy, our global Muslim community can make an even greater impact on the world stage. Then, stepping into the sacred journey of Umrah, I experienced a deep connection to my faith and purpose. I had the honor of performing two Umrahs—one for myself and one for my beloved father, may Allah have mercy on his soul. Performing this Umrah for him was an emotional and humbling experience, made even more meaningful by the presence of two delegation members who supported me throughout the journey. Their kindness and solidarity reminded me of the strength found in our Muslim community and the power of shared faith in carrying us through both personal and collective moments of significance. Standing before the Kaaba, I prayed for guidance, clarity, and strength in the path ahead. Doing an Umrah on behalf of my father was a way to honor his legacy and seek Allah’s mercy for him. It was a powerful reminder that we are never alone—our faith, our community, and the love of those who support us keep us grounded and strong. This trip reaffirmed my commitment to strengthening Muslim leadership in the U.S. and beyond, ensuring that we build bridges of opportunity, justice, and empowerment. I am deeply grateful to AMCOB for facilitating such meaningful connections and to my fellow delegation members for their support and companionship. I look forward to working together to uplift our communities and carry forward the spirit of service. Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your support and for the incredible work you do. May we continue to strive for excellence and leave a lasting legacy.

Finally getting my head above water. Reflections on the trip: First and foremost, it was amazing to spend so much time with everyone in person, after meeting everyone on screen. This is what I valued the most from the trip. Secondly, this trip was my first visit to Saudi Arabia, and my first back to the Middle East since 2016 (when I lived in Jordan for 3 years). I wound up also attending LEAP Riyadh and STEP Dubai. I learned that Riyadh is fast becoming the economic/tech center of gravity for the region, in a way that it wasn't before. The good people are all moving there, I met quite a lot of them. I also enjoyed the very genuine culture of Saudi Arabia, an asset that Dubai doesn't have. I hope to soon go back regularly. It was truly wild (excuse the term) to get so close to the Kaabah, visit the Prophet's Mosque, and just be among all of the pilgrims. Thank you all for getting me there.
